Supply Chain Manager - F&B

About the role

A full-time Supply Chain Manager position in Kuwait, focused on the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry. The successful candidate will develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives, optimise costs and inventory, strengthen supplier relationships and ensure efficient, uninterrupted supply to business operations. Strong F&B experience is required, with additional experience in retail, restaurants, food products or related businesses preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic supply chain plans aligned with the company's business objectives.
• Manage end-to-end supply chain operations covering procurement, sourcing, warehousing, logistics, inventory, demand planning and maintenance requirements.
• Lead local and international sourcing, including supplier identification, evaluation, negotiation, onboarding and relationship management.
• Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and secure competitive pricing, quality, lead times and service levels.
• Optimise inventory levels, improve stock availability, reduce wastage and minimise slow-moving and obsolete stock.
• Lead demand planning and forecasting with Operations, Finance and other departments.
• Oversee warehouse and logistics operations for efficient, timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
• Ensure timely availability of materials, spare parts, equipment and consumables for restaurant and operational activities.
• Identify and implement cost optimisation and supply chain efficiency initiatives.
• Develop, monitor and analyse supply chain KPIs, management reports and performance dashboards.
• Work closely with Operations, Finance, Purchasing, Maintenance and other departments.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in supply chain management.
• Currently based in Kuwait; open to all nationalities and genders.
• Strong, proven F&B experience is mandatory, preferably in restaurants, food products, food service or related businesses; retail experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, warehousing, logistics, inventory management, demand planning and maintenance-related procurement.
• Experience in local and international sourcing, supplier evaluation, negotiation and supplier relationship management.

Required skills

• Ability to prepare, analyse and present management reports, KPIs and business analysis.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, demand planning, forecasting and supply chain efficiency improvement.
