Technical Professional – GBA (Oil & Gas Drilling)

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Professional – GBA to provide advanced drilling engineering support for our customers in Kuwait. The role involves designing multi‑PSL jobs, delivering well support, and mentoring junior technical staff while ensuring high service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Design multi‑PSL jobs, provide well support and conduct post‑job analysis for customers in the assigned area.
• Develop and maintain technical relationships with the customer base and act as an expert resource for ATP and TP staff.
• Participate in critical jobs where service quality or complexity is a concern.
• Maintain job schedules, liaise with customers on technical issues, and drive performance reviews and process improvements.
• Collaborate with local Business Development teams to keep customers informed about technology.
• Initiate, review and close Correction, Prevention, Improvement (CPI) actions related to technology.
• Mentor Associate Technical Professionals (ATPs) within the service centre.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of drilling industry experience, including at least 5 years of Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) experience.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English.
• Willingness to work a 60 × 30 rotation schedule and travel to Kuwait.
