Transportation Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Transportation Operations Manager to lead and optimise our high‑volume urban delivery network in Kuwait. You will be responsible for overseeing daily planning, fleet and driver operations, route optimisation and delivery performance while maintaining service quality and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning and management of transportation operations in Kuwait City, ensuring efficiency, reliability and cost control.
• Manage a team of four transportation staff, handling scheduling, route optimisation, dispatching and exception management.
• Coordinate with warehouses, merchants, customers and third‑party logistics partners to guarantee timely and safe deliveries.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve transportation processes and systems.
• Monitor performance and costs, identify gaps and drive productivity and expense‑reduction initiatives.
• Oversee driver and fleet operations, including allocation, performance management, training and compliance.
• Build and maintain relationships with local transportation and merchant partners to support business growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, fleet or delivery operations, preferably in urban delivery.
• Proven experience managing operations with 100+ vehicles per day.
• Strong understanding of route planning, dispatching, fleet management and last‑mile delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to optimise transportation costs and improve operational efficiency.
• Experience leading, training and developing driver and transportation teams.
• Strong data‑analysis and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and logistics processes.
• Experience in the Middle East or an international environment is a plus.
• Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
