About the role

Jumeirah Messilah Beach, a beachfront resort in Kuwait with 316 rooms and suites, offers an opportunity for a Waiter/ess to join the Mint Café outlet. The role delivers an enjoyable, expertly served beverage and dining experience to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Anticipate and serve guests' requirements before they ask for them.
• Serve beverages, including using the correct stemware and appropriate garnishes.
• Complete opening and closing side work as assigned and set all tables to standard.
• Present menus and explain all menu items and daily specials.
• Use the hotel's computer system to ring up sales, print checks, close checks and complete closing readings.
• Change ashtrays, serve cigarettes, crumb tables and offer additional beverages and cigars.
• Report any accident or guest complaint immediately to a manager.

Required profile

• Ability to provide guests with an enjoyable, expertly served beverage and dining experience.
• Knowledge of beverage service, including stemware and garnishes.
