Welding Engineer – Boiler Projects (Kuwait)

About the role

The company is seeking a Welding Engineer to lead welding activities for ten boiler units within a power‑station and water‑distillation project in Kuwait. The role is based on‑site and involves close collaboration with the Project Management Department (Boiler & Piping) to ensure all welding work meets project specifications and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and inspect welding operations for boiler and piping systems.
• Coordinate with design and construction teams to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ensure compliance with welding codes, quality control procedures, and heat‑treatment requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections and non‑destructive testing to verify weld integrity.
• Maintain welding equipment, manage consumables, and oversee safety protocols on the site.

Required profile

• BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in welding engineering, preferably on power‑station or water‑distillation projects.
• Previous exposure to shipyard or ship‑repair environments is advantageous.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kuwait and collaborate with multicultural teams.
