About the role

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in delivering an exceptional customer experience while driving sales and operational efficiency. This role steps in to lead the store when the manager is absent, ensuring seamless day‑to‑day operations and adherence to company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge and fashion trends to minimize stock loss and support suggestive selling.
• Coach and motivate retail staff to provide the highest level of customer service.
• Assist in implementing operating procedures and ensure compliance with brand policies.
• Audit store administration regularly and resolve any issues promptly.
• Manage daily rosters, leave requests, and employee grievances.
• Uphold visual merchandising standards at all times.
• Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program to increase repeat sales.
• Provide feedback to the Store Manager and Area Manager on staff performance and product assortment.
• Maintain store security vigilance and address any concerns.

Required profile

• Fashion‑forward, well‑groomed appearance with strong product knowledge.
• Physically fit to stand for long periods and handle heavy lifting.
• Ability to work independently and take full responsibility in the manager’s absence.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑centric mindset.
