Captain Waiter

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Captain Waiter to lead our front‑of‑house team at Nara Restocafe in Salmiya. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will ensure every guest receives a seamless and memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coach a team of waitstaff, coordinating service flow during all shifts.
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen and management to guarantee timely and accurate food and beverage delivery.
• Assist with serving during peak periods to maintain high service standards.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain presentation standards for tables, menus, and overall dining area.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Leadership experience in a fast‑paced restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Proactive problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Previous experience as a captain, head waiter or similar role is preferred.

Required skills

• Knowledge of food and beverage service operations, including serving etiquette and menu familiarity.
• Basic understanding of cooking processes to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff.
