Custodian Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Custodian Supervisor to lead our custodial team at a facility in Kuwait. The role involves overseeing daily cleaning operations, managing staff schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise custodial personnel, schedule daily activities and manage leave requests.
• Inspect assigned areas to verify cleaning is performed according to the Performance Work Statement and industry standards.
• Coordinate special‑event setup and handle miscellaneous tasks such as furniture movement, sand removal, floor waxing, and bathroom checks.
• Maintain inventory, transport supplies, and ensure proper use and care of equipment.
• Enter and verify maintenance work orders, preventive‑maintenance inspections, and urgent requests in the Maximo CMMS.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to junior staff.
• Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience supervising custodial or facilities‑maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of standard operating procedures, safety and environmental directives.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and inspection forms.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Maximo Computer Maintenance Management System.
• Inventory control and basic supply‑chain management.
• Effective communication and customer‑service orientation.
