Data Center Network Engineer - Secret Clearance

About the role

Data Center Network Engineers support the enterprise‑class infrastructure of the RCC‑SWA, providing optimisation, administration and technical documentation for large‑scale networking environments. The role requires a Secret clearance and the ability to work in the host country.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver enterprise‑level support for data‑center and global transport networking.
• Configure, install, maintain and troubleshoot Cisco Nexus 9000 series switches, Fabric Extenders, UCS chassis and Fabric Interconnects.
• Design and manage vPC, FCoE, Catalyst VSS, MPLS L3VPN, eBGP/iBGP, OSPF/EIGRP, DMVPN and FlexPod architectures.
• Provide basic VMware vSphere networking support.
• Execute change control, engage Cisco TAC and follow best practices for network builds, integration, testing and documentation.
• Monitor network availability using DX NetOps Spectrum, SolarWinds Orion and Cisco DNA Center.
• Perform system maintenance to address IAVA vulnerabilities and ensure CCRI compliance following DISA STIGs.

Required profile

• Valid Secret clearance and ability to obtain and maintain host‑nation visa and driver’s licence.
• Proven experience with Cisco data‑center technologies and enterprise networking protocols.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently in a global environment.
