Data Center Network Engineer – Secret Clearance

About the role

V2X Inc is seeking a senior Data Center Network Engineer to support its enterprise‑class infrastructure for the RCC‑SWA program in Kuwait. The position requires a Secret clearance and will involve both on‑site data‑center work and global transport architecture support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide enterprise‑level support for a large‑scale networking infrastructure, from data‑center service origination to global transport delivery.
• Design, install, configure, and maintain Cisco Nexus 9000 series switches, Fabric Extenders, UCS chassis and Fabric Interconnects.
• Implement and troubleshoot vPC, FCoE, Catalyst VSS, MPLS L3VPN, eBGP/iBGP, OSPF/EIGRP, DMVPN, and FlexPod design concepts.
• Document configurations, changes, and resolutions; act as an escalation point for complex network issues.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure lifecycle management and optimal performance of routing and switching platforms.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years (120 months) of relevant networking experience.
• Active Secret clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a host‑nation visa and driver’s license.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco Nexus, ASR routing, and UCS compute platforms.
• Experience with enterprise IT services for defense or government customers is a plus.
