About the role
The Economic Research Analyst will support senior economists by gathering and analysing economic, financial and banking data, primarily focused on Kuwait and major overseas economies. This entry‑level position offers structured training to develop analytical skills and prepare you for more advanced economic research work.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and monitor data, news and trends related to the economic, financial and banking sectors.
- Critically analyse data and produce clear, concise write‑ups for use by economists and departmental publications.
- Prepare presentations and reports for senior economists and the Chief Economist.
- Respond to data and analysis requests from the economic team.
- Develop a solid understanding of economic concepts through on‑the‑job training.
Required profile
- University degree in Economics or Finance; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Strong interest in economic research and data analysis.
- Ability to write clearly and present findings effectively.
