Floor Manager

About the role

The Floor Manager supports the Branch Manager in running daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of quality, service, cleanliness, and value. The role takes full charge when the Branch Manager is absent and leads the front‑of‑house (FOH) team to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, manage reservations and waiting lists, present the menu, and suggest food and beverage options.
• Monitor guest service, conduct table checks, and ensure timely ticket delivery.
• Lead FOH staff, enforce service standards, conduct pre‑shift briefings, and approve weekly schedules.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness across FOH and kitchen, perform uniform inspections, and submit monthly license reports.
• Oversee equipment maintenance, investigate food quality issues, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage daily raw‑material orders, supervise warehouse deliveries, monitor inventory, and assist with invoice booking and waste reporting.
• Update daily food safety logs, conduct one‑on‑one feedback meetings, and act as the in‑charge during the Branch Manager’s absence.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality floor management.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate FOH teams and handle customer issues effectively.
• Strong organizational skills to manage schedules, inventory, and operational checklists.
• Availability to work 8‑hour shifts across 6 days per week.
