About the role
The Guest Service Expert at Marriott’s JW Marriott in Kuwait City delivers memorable dining experiences by combining attentive service with high‑quality food and beverage presentation. This full‑time position involves interacting directly with guests, coordinating with the kitchen, and maintaining a clean, safe service environment.
Key responsibilities
- Set and arrange tables, ensure proper dining settings, and maintain clean work areas.
- Communicate guest orders to the kitchen, serve food and drinks, and respond to guest requests promptly.
- Handle menu management, verify items visually, and assist guests with menu information.
- Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting (up to 25 lb unaided, 50 lb with assistance), and transporting supplies across varied surfaces.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Less than one year of related food‑and‑beverage experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No specific license or certification needed.
