HSE Manager

About the role

HEISCO is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety and environmental functions for its EPC and construction projects in Kuwait. The role is strategic, focusing on building a world‑class safety culture and continuous improvement of HSE performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement project‑specific HSE strategies, policies and procedures.
• Promote a strong safety culture across all project sites and organizational levels.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, client requirements and international HSE standards.
• Lead and develop HSE teams, providing coaching and professional growth.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, site inspections and incident investigations.
• Monitor, analyse and report HSE performance metrics and drive improvement initiatives.
• Interface with clients, regulatory authorities and project management on all HSE matters.
• Oversee hazard identification and risk management processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or related field.
• 12–15 years of HSE experience in EPC, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Marine or heavy industrial projects.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior HSE leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and management systems.
• Preferred qualifications: NEBOSH International Diploma, NVQ Level 5/6 or equivalent; professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA.
