Industrial Engineering Faculty Position (Assistant to Full Professor)

About the role

The School of Engineering and Computing at American International University seeks a full‑time faculty member in Industrial Engineering. Candidates may be considered at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level based on qualifications and experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality undergraduate courses with a strong industry focus.
• Integrate real‑world case studies, current technologies, and professional standards into teaching.
• Incorporate AI, digital technologies, data analytics, automation, and simulation tools into curricula and applied projects.
• Develop and update curricula, mentor students, and supervise research projects.
• Collaborate with faculty and industry partners on applied research, consulting, and interdisciplinary innovation.
• Participate in industry engagement activities such as guest lectures, workshops, site visits, and advisory committees.

Required profile

• PhD in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of university‑level teaching experience with a record of teaching excellence.
• Active research portfolio and ability to engage with emerging technologies.
