Junior Finance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Finance Manager to join V2X’s global finance team. The role will support a portfolio of programs, ensuring accurate accounting, budgeting and financial reporting while complying with federal regulations and corporate standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain general accounting records and prepare timely financial statements for assigned programs.
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts and cash‑flow projections, comparing actual results to targets.
• Produce cost analyses, pricing models and performance metrics to support decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, FAR, CAS and Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with senior and functional managers on financial controls, reporting and strategic planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance; CPA or CFA preferred.
• 1‑3 years of experience in both accounting and finance functions, preferably on DoD or federal contracts.
• Strong understanding of governmental accounting regulations and cost accounting standards.
• Previous experience managing budgets or supervising finance activities is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of GAAP.
