Network Engineer (Cisco) – Full-Time

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with a strong Cisco background to join our team. The role involves maintaining, optimizing, and expanding our network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize network performance, schedule and apply upgrades.
• Build, configure, and update network devices including switches, routers, wireless access points, and telephony systems.
• Troubleshoot network issues, respond to outages, and resolve Tier 2/3 tickets.
• Deploy and maintain solutions designed by senior engineers and implement network designs.
• Audit and manage IP addressing, subnets, and routing models.
• Define, document, and enforce network standards, policies, and access controls.
• Collaborate with network architects on optimization and deployments.
• Support Microsoft servers, HP Data Center hardware, and related management software.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role.
• Valid Cisco CCNP certification.
• Driving license and transferable residency.

Required skills

• Cisco IOS proficiency and router/switch configuration.
• Experience with Cisco switches, routers, FirePOWER firewalls, telephony, and wireless.
• Knowledge of MPLS, VRF, HSRP, DHCP, DNS, FTP, TFTP, Syslog.
• Strong understanding of IPv4 subnetting, IP addressing, OSPF, EIGRP, and other routing protocols.
• Familiarity with Microsoft server platforms and HP Data Center operations.
• Access control, security best practices, and firewall operation (FirePOWER).
