Occupational Therapist II – Inpatient Rehabilitation

About the role

The Occupational Therapist II provides autonomous, accountable care to a complex inpatient rehabilitation population. The role supports professional growth while delivering therapy appropriate to the ages of patients served.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized occupational therapy interventions for inpatient rehab patients.
• Document patient progress and maintain compliance with departmental competencies and orientation standards.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain required licensure and certifications, including Arkansas State board license and CPR.
• Adhere to the career ladder requirements for Level II and contribute to department improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Valid Arkansas State board license in Occupational Therapy.
• BS, MS, or DOT in Occupational Therapy.
• Less than one year of professional experience is acceptable.
• Commitment to professional and departmental growth.

Required skills

• CPR certification (can be completed upon hire).
