Patient Care Tech I – 3rd Floor Rehab

About the role

The Patient Care Tech I provides essential bedside support to patients and families on the 3rd Floor Rehab unit. Working closely with the healthcare team, you will ensure basic care, hygiene, and monitoring are delivered with compassion and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients and families with daily care activities, hygiene, and monitoring.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and observations.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Support the care team by anticipating and responding to patient needs.
• Adhere to scheduled shift hours (6:30 am – 7:00 pm) and flexible staffing requirements.

Required profile

• Completion of 12 college‑level credit hours, including English Composition with a grade of C or higher.
• Overall GPA of 2.0 or greater (transcripts verified).
• Willingness to work flexible hours and maintain strong organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn and apply new healthcare‑related skills.
• Proactive problem‑solving and collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• CPR certification (training provided).
