About the role
The Physical Therapy Assistant will support a complex inpatient rehabilitation population within an agency setting. Working under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will help deliver therapeutic care to patients of varying ages.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Physical Therapist in providing patient assessments and treatment plans.
- Deliver therapeutic exercises, modalities, and functional training as directed.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and communicate patient status.
Required profile
- Valid Arkansas State Board license for Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
- Current CPR certification.
- Demonstrated independence, accountability, and commitment to professional growth.
