Purchasing Officer

About the role

Boutiqaat is seeking a detail‑oriented Purchasing Officer to ensure product availability for its fast‑growing beauty and cosmetics e‑commerce platform. You will act as the central hub between suppliers and internal teams, guaranteeing that the right items arrive on time, in the right quantity, and at the right cost.

Key responsibilities

• Create accurate purchase orders, specifying quantities, specifications, and timelines.
• Track shipments, monitor order status, and resolve delivery delays or quality issues.
• Maintain optimal stock levels to avoid overstock and stockouts.
• Forecast demand using historical data, promotions, and market trends.
• Conduct inventory audits and ensure stock accuracy.
• Collaborate with marketing to keep product listings up‑to‑date.
• Coordinate customs clearance and monitor shipping timelines.
• Generate reports on purchasing activity, stock levels, and product performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in beauty & cosmetics.
• Fluent English with strong analytical and negotiation abilities.
• Customer‑oriented, proactive mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
