Restaurant Supervisor (CP)

About the role

The Restaurant Supervisor (CP) supports the restaurant team in daily operations, ensuring professional and efficient service while upholding IHG standards. This role assists the Restaurant Manager in driving revenue, maintaining quality, and fostering a positive work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support the restaurant team during service periods.
• Conduct daily briefings, allocate duties, and ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in training, coaching, and developing colleagues.
• Maintain compliance with hotel policies, grooming standards, and IHG service expectations.
• Support revenue and profitability targets, monitor stock usage, and minimize waste.
• Oversee accurate billing, cashiering, and cash handling procedures.
• Assist with inventory counts and ordering of supplies.
• Deliver exceptional guest service, address inquiries, and resolve complaints promptly.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper setup of tables, buffet displays, and service stations.
• Coordinate with kitchen and other departments for timely food and beverage service.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Promote sustainable practices by minimizing waste and conserving resources.
