Sales Associate

About the role

The Sales Associate works on‑site in Shuwaikh supporting Al‑Tuhoo’s trading activities in construction materials and specialty teas. You will interact with customers both in person and by phone, providing product information and ensuring a professional, welcoming experience.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers in person and by phone, respond to inquiries and provide product details.
• Prepare quotations, process orders and coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams.
• Follow up on deliveries to guarantee timely and accurate fulfillment.
• Maintain product displays, update pricing and stock information, and support promotional activities.
• Keep accurate sales records, assist with inventory checks and collaborate with the wider sales team to meet targets.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to build professional relationships.
• Sales and negotiation abilities, including identifying customer needs and recommending suitable products.
• Basic business and administrative competence such as order processing, record keeping and inventory support.
• Fluent English communication; Arabic is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with retail or trading environments, preferably in construction materials, hardware or FMCG.
• Relevant diploma or bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field is beneficial.
• Ability to work on‑site, stand for extended periods and handle moderate physical activity.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (email, spreadsheets, POS systems) and willingness to learn company‑specific systems.
