Sales Representative – Construction Materials & Tea

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site Sales Representative position is based in Shuwaikh, Kuwait. The role focuses on developing and maintaining relationships with contractors, retailers and distributors in the construction materials and tea product sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities and generate leads across construction materials and tea product lines.
• Visit clients, present product portfolios, prepare quotations and negotiate sales agreements in line with company policies.
• Coordinate with internal teams on inventory, pricing and delivery timelines, and follow up on orders and payments.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback to continuously improve sales strategies.

Required profile

• Strong sales and negotiation abilities, with experience in lead generation, relationship building and closing deals.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic business and analytical understanding of pricing, margins and market trends.
• Organizational and time‑management skills to plan client visits and manage multiple accounts.
• Previous sales experience, preferably in construction materials, building supplies or FMCG, and knowledge of the local Kuwaiti market.
• High school diploma required; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field is an advantage.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic proficiency is strongly preferred.
