Sales Engineer

About the role

The Sales Engineer will implement the sales plan to achieve targets and grow the department by optimizing sales and market share of existing products. This role combines technical expertise with customer‑focused sales activities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new customers and sales channels, researching market opportunities.
• Deliver technical and sales presentations, answer customer enquiries, and clearly explain product benefits.
• Act as an honest mentor, outlining pros and cons of each brand to build long‑term relationships.
• Meet customers to introduce products and provide ongoing support.
• Prepare, review, and qualify technical drawings and designs with customers before installation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date customer records and databases.
• Promote services to meet sales targets and improve department profitability.
• Collaborate with the Marketing department to develop necessary marketing tools.
• Uphold legal, social, and environmental responsibilities, representing Alghanim Industries professionally.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field.
• Up to 5 years of direct sales experience in a related engineering sector.
• Creativity to devise new systems and ask the right questions.
• Strong analytical abilities for complex mathematical analysis.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with equipment and tools.
• Problem‑solving skills to develop and test solutions.
• Teamwork, listening, and communication skills to collaborate effectively.
