Senior Audit & Assurance Professional – Kuwait

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior professional to join its Audit & Assurance team in Kuwait. The role involves delivering high‑quality audit services, building trust with clients, and contributing to the firm’s commitment to integrity and impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and adapt audit referral instructions, clearly defining scope and focus areas.
• Liaise with onshore and offshore Centres of Excellence, ensuring accurate and complete information exchange.
• Track deliverables from component auditors and integrate risks, controls, procedures, and findings across the audit file.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and ensure they are met throughout the engagement.
• Prepare documentation that anticipates reviewer questions and distinguishes accounting judgments from audit judgments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in audit and assurance, preferably at a senior level.
• Strong understanding of regulatory impact, risk management, and industry statistics.
• Ability to build credibility with stakeholders and communicate audit scope effectively.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
