Senior ETL Developer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ETL Developer to lead large‑scale data integration initiatives. The role focuses on designing, building, and optimizing ETL workflows using Informatica and complementary tools while ensuring data quality across complex enterprise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes with Informatica (PowerCenter, IICS, Cloud) and SSIS.
• Manage and tune database platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, and Sybase.
• Write and optimize advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and views.
• Perform data integration, migration, and transformation across multiple systems.
• Implement data cleansing, validation, and quality assurance techniques.
• Conduct performance tuning for ETL workflows and SQL statements.
• Handle high‑volume batch processing and schedule jobs using Control‑M, Autosys, or cron.
• Develop automation scripts in Python, Shell, or JavaScript.
• Integrate data via REST and SOAP APIs.
• Maintain metadata, data lineage documentation, and robust error handling, logging, and monitoring.
• Collaborate using version control systems such as Git or SVN.
• Work with cloud‑based ETL platforms like AWS Glue and Azure Data Factory.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with ETL tools and database systems.
• Proven expertise in large‑scale data integration and performance optimization.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with high‑volume datasets.
