About the role

Khabari International General Trading Company is hiring an Accountant in Kuwait. The position suits someone with 3-5 years of accounting experience and PRO/government relations experience, with a construction or contracting background preferred.

Key responsibilities

Project cost tracking and processing of payment certificates
Invoicing, receivables and payables
Assisting with PRO and government-related documentation and submissions (MOI, PACI, Labour Ministry)
Supporting month-end closing and audit preparation

Required profile

3-5 years of accounting experience
Experience in project accounting; construction or contracting background preferred
PRO/government relations experience (MOI, PACI, Labour Ministry submissions)
Nationality: Lebanese or Jordanian preferred
Good English and Arabic communication

Required skills

Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel
Accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, VAT and tax filing (Kuwait/GCC)
Preferred: Letter of Credit and bank guarantee knowledge, audit support and financial reporting
