Boutique Operations Manager (Luxury Retail)

About the role

Chanel is seeking a Boutique Operations Manager to oversee all back‑store activities, including inventory, maintenance, after‑sales service and security, ensuring the boutique runs smoothly and aligns with the House’s commercial strategy and brand image. The role works closely with the boutique manager and a dedicated back‑store team to drive operational excellence in a fast‑paced luxury environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the back‑store team, ensuring understanding of the House’s strategy and fostering collaboration.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, set objectives and monitor skill development.
• Serve as strategic partner to the Boutique Manager, analysing sales data, KPIs and inventory metrics to propose action plans.
• Oversee after‑sales operations, ensuring client satisfaction in line with Chanel standards.
• Implement and enforce boutique procedures, security protocols and compliance with local regulations.
• Manage scheduling in accordance with labor laws and boutique needs while respecting budget constraints.
• Supervise stock activities, conduct inventories, analyse stock levels and drive optimisation of inventory management.
• Prepare regular reports for boutique management and propose studies to support business strategy.
