Business Technology Strategist – Azure Applications, Data & AI

About the role

We are seeking a commercially driven Business Technology Strategist to lead sales and presales activities for Azure, Applications, Data and AI solutions in Kuwait. The role involves managing the full sales cycle, engaging enterprise customers, and translating business needs into technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end sales process: lead generation, qualification, pipeline development, proposal positioning, negotiation and deal closure.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across Azure, Applications, Data & AI.
• Drive revenue growth by acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts.
• Build trusted relationships with enterprise customers, partners and Microsoft stakeholders.
• Manage and grow assigned accounts through cross‑selling, upselling and strategic development.
• Collaborate with presales, technical, delivery and infrastructure teams to craft commercially viable solutions.
• Present capabilities, solution portfolio and value proposition in meetings, workshops and executive discussions.
• Support high‑level solution discussions, demos, Proof of Concepts and pilots.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably with 2–4 years in the Kuwait market.
• Strong enterprise technology sales and business development background.
• Practical presales exposure and ability to lead high‑level solution discussions.
• Proven track record of managing enterprise sales opportunities from qualification to closure.
• Excellent customer engagement, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with commercial, technical, presales, delivery, partner and vendor teams.
• Preferred experience in technology consulting, systems integration, cloud solutions, Microsoft partner ecosystem or enterprise IT services.
