HR Officer

About the role

Kuwait Drilling Fluids & Oil Services is looking for a proactive HR Officer to join its Human Resources team in Al Ahmadi. The role serves as a primary point of contact for employees, delivering professional HR support across the employee lifecycle while ensuring compliance with company policies and Kuwait regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main HR contact, advising employees on policies, procedures, systems and transactions.
• Manage day‑to‑day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll documentation and HR reporting.
• Prepare employment contracts, joining documents, internal memos and maintain accurate HR databases and personnel files.
• Support employee relations activities such as grievance handling, investigations, disciplinary actions and counseling.
• Coordinate Kuwaitization reporting, probation monitoring, performance management and employee engagement initiatives.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in HR operations, recruitment and employee relations, preferably in the oil & gas or industrial sector.
• Strong knowledge of Kuwait Labour Law, Kuwaitization requirements and HR compliance.
• Fluent in spoken and written Arabic; English proficiency is required.
• Female candidates are highly preferred.
