Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

Kuwait Drilling Fluids & Oil Services is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to deliver strategic HR solutions aligned with business objectives and Kuwait labour regulations within a dynamic Oil & Gas environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to translate requirements into HR strategies, covering workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and talent development.
• Manage employee relations, including grievances, disciplinary actions, investigations and workplace issues.
• Support compensation, benefits, performance management, succession planning, training and employee engagement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Kuwait labour laws, statutory requirements and company policies.
• Analyse HR data, prepare reports and provide insights for decision‑making.
• Identify and lead process improvement, digitalisation and HR automation projects.

Required profile

• 10–12 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in an HR leadership or HRBP role.
• Strong knowledge of Kuwait labour laws and HR regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field; Master’s/MBA is a plus.
• Professional HR certification (CIPD, SHRM) preferred.
• Fluent in Arabic (spoken and written) and excellent English communication skills.
• Female candidates are strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and Power BI.
• Experience with HR/ERP systems.
