Project Support Controller

About the role

SRT Marine Systems plc is seeking an experienced Project Support Controller to join its project team in Kuwait. Reporting to the Project Director, you will manage end‑to‑end project control processes and support the wider Projects team based in the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver project controls using consistent processes, methods and governance.
• Apply best‑practice scheduling techniques, optimise schedules and track dependencies.
• Monitor and report project progress, manage day‑to‑day accounting activities and prepare financial forecasts.
• Collate financial and management reports, dashboards and performance analysis.
• Support project audits and ensure compliance with contractual milestones and payment applications.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including actions, issues, risks and checklists.
• Raise purchase orders for project expenditure and track financial reporting.
• Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and delivery partners.

Required profile

• Professional level of English and Arabic, both spoken and written.
• Degree level education or relevant professional qualification.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within construction or civil engineering.
• Ability to communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Required skills

• Advanced user of MS Project.
• Advanced user of SharePoint.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and finance/controlling processes.
