Registered Nurse – Flex/Resource Team

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) on the Flex/Resource Team provides safe, therapeutic, and compassionate patient care across multiple specialty units at Baptist Health. Working day shifts from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm, the RN utilizes the nursing process and ongoing training to deliver high‑quality care while maintaining clinical competence and critical thinking.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process and evidence‑based practices.
• Demonstrate clinical competence, critical thinking, and compassionate communication.
• Float within the assigned specialty or across campuses within a 50‑mile radius as needed.
• Participate in specialty‑specific education and training programs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Active RN license in good standing in the state of Arkansas.
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience and at least 1 year in the specialty applied for.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Healthcare CPR certification; additional ACLS, PALS, or NALS certifications may be required (training provided).
• Willingness to work flexible locations within 50 miles of the home campus.

Required skills

• CPR certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – training provided if needed.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – training provided if needed.
• NALS (Neonatal Advanced Life Support) – training provided if needed.
