Senior Chemical Sales & Tendering Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Chemical Sales & Tendering Specialist with over 10 years of experience in chemical sales, tendering, procurement and technical support for the refining, petrochemical, drilling and process sectors. The role focuses on expanding our presence with key Kuwaiti oil and gas companies and delivering profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share with KNPC, KOC, KIPIC, Equate and drilling contractors.
• Manage tendering and bid processes, including KPC tenders and LTSA contracts, ensuring competitive pricing and high win rates.
• Provide expertise on chemical procurement cycles, consumption trends and demand forecasting for major clients.
• Build and maintain partnerships with chemical manufacturers, negotiating optimal pricing and delivery terms.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and technological advances to inform pricing, product development and sales forecasts.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in chemical sales, tendering or procurement within the oil & gas sector.
• Deep knowledge of the procurement processes of KNPC, KOC, KIPIC, Equate and related contractors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven track record of managing key accounts and winning complex bids.

Required skills

• Expertise in chemical sales and tendering for refining, petrochemical and drilling applications.
• Knowledge of KPC tendering procedures and LTSA contract management.
• Strong pricing strategy development and bid analysis capabilities.
