About the role

The Dean of the School of Business will provide strategic, academic, and administrative leadership to deliver high‑quality business education at AIU. This senior role shapes curricula, fosters faculty development, builds industry partnerships, and guides accreditation and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and management for the School, overseeing full‑time and adjunct faculty, academic programs, and administrative operations.
• Lead curriculum development, course scheduling, program assessment, and continuous improvement to ensure academic excellence and market relevance.
• Manage the School’s budget, resource allocation, and strategic planning.
• Drive faculty recruitment, mentoring, performance review, and professional development.
• Promote a culture of research, maintain the Business Advisory Committee, and lead accreditation and quality‑assurance activities, including AACSB.
• Foster industry and community partnerships, internships, and experiential learning opportunities for students.

Required profile

• PhD or equivalent from a recognized university and rank of professor in a relevant discipline.
• Proven record of excellence in teaching and research with publications in international journals.
• Leadership experience in higher education, preferably as a college dean.
• Experience with institutional and programmatic accreditation, especially AACSB, and familiarity with credit‑hour/semester systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with a diverse academic community.
