HR Manager

About the role

American Baccalaureate School (ABS) is looking for an HR Manager in Khaitan, Kuwait. The position reports to the General Director and covers recruitment, company policies and the objectives of the HR team.

Key responsibilities

• Set objectives for the HR team and track progress, and supervise the HR team so goals are met.
• Design and implement company policies that promote a healthy work environment and encourage employee well-being.
• Develop compensation and benefits plans and design onboarding sessions and processes for new recruits.
• Oversee the recruitment and hiring process and support improvements across recruitment.
• Organize learning and development programs and discuss career development paths with managers.
• Ensure HR staff handles employee requests and grievances promptly, and resolve complaints with innovative solutions.
• Maintain HR procedures that comply with labor regulations and ensure the department follows company policies.
• Monitor HR metrics, review the department budget and evaluate HR staff performance with constructive feedback.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior HR Manager or similar role.
• BSc degree in Human Resources Management; MSc in HR or a relevant certification is a plus.
• Solid understanding of labor legislation.
