HR Specialist II / Senior Specialist

About the role

The HR Specialist II acts as a subject matter expert across all HR functions and helps implement institutional and departmental objectives through processes and procedures, generating reports that support strategic planning and decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Handle staff and management queries on HR matters and prepare policies, forms, the employee handbook and HR SOPs, reviewing and updating them with version control.
• Assist with HR operations such as payroll, compensation and benefits, and organizational development.
• Prepare quarterly and annual KPI reports, departmental and institutional work plans, and HRMIS and dashboard reports; manage the PA process (year-beginning, mid-year, year-end), salary increments, promotions, inflation and bonus reports, and orientation documentation.
• Run HR orientation workshops for new employees and manage succession planning, including training follow-up and feedback.
• Manage employee air tickets and the business leaves and external training process, and run the employee engagement survey.
• Support the culture change framework, career progression reviews, internal and external audits, and any other duties assigned by the HR Assistant Manager and HR Manager.
• Maintain confidentiality on personnel information and sensitive issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and professional certifications related to HR.
• 6-8 years of relevant experience.
• Team player who supports and develops colleagues and solves problems quickly.
• Analytical skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft tools and software.
