About the role
The Procurement PMO will lead and coordinate strategic sourcing initiatives, ensuring compliance, cost‑effectiveness, and efficient supplier management within Zain’s procurement function.
Key responsibilities
- Enforce procurement policies, standards, KPIs and methodologies across the organization.
- Oversee strategic sourcing projects, maintain project trackers and ensure timely delivery.
- Create dashboards and reports on supplier performance, cost‑saving targets and KPIs for executive review.
- Analyze spending patterns to identify cost‑saving opportunities and streamline end‑to‑end procurement processes.
- Track project status and progress with internal business users, procurement teams and external suppliers.
- Drive digital enablement, manage procurement software/ERP tools and improve data analytics.
- Provide regular reporting on procurement initiative status and progress.
- Ensure compliance with ISMS policies and report any security incidents.
- Adhere to environmental requirements set by Kuwaiti authorities and Zain Group policies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement or Project Management.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of procurement, supply chain and project management.
- Strong experience in the telecom industry.
