QA/QC Mechanical Inspector – Shipyard Projects

About the role

The QA/QC Mechanical Inspector will support the MEW Power Stations & Water Distillation project in Kuwait, focusing on boiler and piping inspections. The role involves ensuring that mechanical components meet design specifications and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections and verify blueprints for boiler and piping systems.
• Conduct calibration, use of CMM, and apply NDT methods.
• Inspect welds, material samples, and overall metrology compliance.
• Execute quality audits, root‑cause analysis, and statistical process control.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of inspection results.

Required profile

• BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5‑8 years of experience in power stations, water distillation, or shipyard projects.
• Proven experience with mechanical inspection and quality control.
