Accountant – Logistics & Supply Chain (Kuwait City)

About the role

We are a growing logistics and supply‑chain company based in the Kuwait City Metropolitan Area, seeking a full‑time Accountant to manage daily financial transactions and support our operations. The role involves maintaining accurate ledgers, processing invoices, and providing financial insights to help streamline our logistics services.

Key responsibilities

• Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger for logistics operations.
• Reconcile accounts, monitor accounts payable and receivable, and process invoices.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing, budget tracking, and cash‑flow management.
• Prepare financial reports, support internal and external audits, and ensure compliance with local accounting standards.
• Collaborate with operations and management teams to deliver clear financial analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, ACCA or equivalent is a plus.
• Proven experience in core accounting functions, including ledger management, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Familiarity with accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and credit control.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical aptitude, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kuwait City and comply with local regulations.
