Aircraft Mechanic II – Powerplant (T700/T701/T55) – Kuwait

About the role

The Aircraft Mechanic II – Powerplant/Engine specialist will perform and inspect aviation unit, intermediate and depot maintenance on UH‑60, CH‑47 and AH‑64 aircraft. The role focuses on major assemblies of T700, T701C/D, T55‑714 engines and auxiliary power units.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair major engine assemblies and sub‑assemblies, including generators, alternators, fuel and oil pumps, and gearboxes.
• Inspect turbine blades for cracks, corrosion or damage; perform blade blending and replacement in the cold section.
• Conduct hot‑section inspections and replace components such as GG rotors, stators, fuel injectors, igniters and power turbines.
• Disassemble, inspect, and re‑assemble engine parts; execute engine removal, replacement, re‑installation and quick‑change assembly (QCA) tasks.
• Utilise specialised tools (torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers) and interpret technical publications and logistics information systems.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years recent aircraft maintenance experience, including at least two years on UH‑60, CH‑47 and AH‑64.
• Valid U.S. passport with sufficient blank pages and at least two years before expiration.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a NAC‑I T1 public‑trust clearance.
• Eligibility for CENTCOM MOD physicals, Kuwait visa and international travel.
