B2 Licensed Engineer (Helicopter) – Kuwait

About the role

Volantes Technical Recruitment is seeking an experienced UKCAA/EASA B2 Licensed Engineer to join a government‑backed helicopter maintenance operation in Kuwait. The role works on AS365, EC135 and H225 helicopters on a 6‑day on/6‑day off shift pattern.

Key responsibilities

• Complete and certify avionics and electrical system tasks in accordance with the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE).
• Prepare and submit all required paperwork and documentation.
• Issue approved materials via the company’s computer system and ensure use of approved tools and ground support equipment.
• Maintain a safe work environment, manage risk, and ensure all tooling is accounted for before return to service.
• Carry out post‑maintenance actions and follow directives from the Chief Engineer or Central Planning team.
• Support health, safety and environmental initiatives in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• EASA or CAA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence – Category B2.
• Strong technical knowledge of helicopter avionics and electrical systems.
• Good understanding of aircraft maintenance regulations, health & safety and human factors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with OEM documentation for Leonardo/MD helicopter types.
• Ability to work independently, travel as required and adapt to shift work in Kuwait.
