Calibration Assistant Engineer

About the role

The Calibration Assistant Engineer ensures that all instruments and testing devices used across manufacturing plants and R&D laboratories are accurately calibrated, maintained, and compliant with cGMP, ISO 17025, safety, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform calibration of instruments and testing devices according to established standards and ensure accurate readings.
• Document calibration activities, label instruments, and close SAP notifications on the same day.
• Provide engineering support and maintenance, implement preventive maintenance programs, and follow SOPs.
• Coordinate third‑party calibration, review raw data, upload certificates in SAP, and close monthly M5 notifications.
• Monitor KPI metrics, prepare monthly reports, and follow up on remedial actions.
• Maintain safety records and ensure readiness for inspections and audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP requirements, good documentation practices, and ISO 17025 guidelines.
• Understanding of measurement‑uncertainty calculations and calibration standards.
• Excellent English communication, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills.
