Certified System Technician – Mercedes Benz

About the role

We are looking for a Certified System Technician to join our Mercedes‑Benz service team in Kuwait. The role involves handling complex vehicle diagnostics, repairs and installations while ensuring high quality and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Accept, transfer and explain workshop orders, verify order contents and record processing times.
• Locate vehicles, drive them to the workplace and protect them from contamination.
• Conduct preliminary diagnosis using checklists and document each work step.
• Perform difficult and complex diagnoses in your specialization using the latest diagnostic technologies.
• Independently carry out complex removal, assembly and adjustment procedures, such as automatic transmission repairs or engine‑running issue remedies.
• Install and commission comprehensive components and systems (e.g., telematics, stationary heaters, trailer hitches) and integrate them with vehicle networks.
• Plan and execute all types of complex repair operations using workshop information systems.
• Select parts from the catalog, generate parts request lists and cooperate in parts registration and vehicle identification.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience as a trained and certified technology specialist in automotive service, preferably Mercedes‑Benz.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities with a strong focus on customer service.
• Fluent English (preferred language).
