Concept Manager

About the role

The Concept Manager will lead Home Centre's retail operations within the assigned territory, ensuring optimal sales performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This role combines strategic planning, team coaching, and hands‑on execution of visual merchandising and inventory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and drive retail operations to achieve maximum sales, profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain visual merchandising, store standards, and replenishment processes.
• Coach and develop store teams, fostering continuous improvement.
• Prepare sales budgets, set productivity targets and implement retail strategies in coordination with Territory and Concept Heads.
• Control costs, manage stock and space, and conduct SWOT analyses of customer profiles.
• Provide monthly competitor and market feedback, and suggest benchmark‑based improvements.
• Oversee inventory and warehouse management, including order processing, stock consolidation, transfers, and shrinkage control.
• Ensure pricing compliance and deliver regular sales and stock performance reports.
• Identify and pursue expansion opportunities, manage new project roll‑outs and property research.
• Develop and execute territory operating plans, ensuring compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and brand image.
• Lead recruitment, staff welfare, training, grievance handling and performance appraisal processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail operations and sales management.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to set and achieve budgetary targets.
• Demonstrated leadership and team‑coaching skills.
• Analytical mindset for stock, sales and market analysis.
• Knowledge of inventory, space and cost management practices.
• Ability to develop and implement retail strategies and expansion plans.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
