Construction Supervision Manager – Water Infrastructure

About the role

Surbana Jurong is seeking a highly experienced Construction Supervision Manager (Resident Engineer) to lead supervision activities on a major water infrastructure project. The role involves overseeing the delivery of water transmission, pumping and distribution assets, ensuring construction, testing, commissioning and hand‑over meet project requirements and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary site supervision team for major water infrastructure works.
• Oversee construction, testing, commissioning and hand‑over of water transmission, pumping and distribution facilities.
• Act as primary liaison between client, contractors and stakeholders to ensure coordinated project delivery.
• Review engineering submissions, technical documentation and construction methodologies for compliance.
• Monitor progress, quality, safety, resource utilization and performance across multiple work fronts.
• Facilitate technical and progress review meetings and resolve construction and contractual issues.
• Supervise inspection, testing, commissioning and performance verification activities.
• Lead contract administration including variations, claims, payment applications and close‑out documentation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in construction supervision of water transmission, pumping and distribution projects.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary site teams in a complex infrastructure environment.
• Strong knowledge of international engineering standards and quality expectations.
• Excellent coordination skills with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.
