Consultant Reservoir Engineer - Prospect Evaluation

About the role

Anton, an integrated oil and gas value-added management services company headquartered in Dubai, is hiring a Consultant Reservoir Engineer for prospect evaluation in Kuwait. The role provides senior technical consultation and solution-oriented guidance on complex reservoir engineering and upstream challenges, supporting management decisions and field-development planning.

Key responsibilities

• Define study scopes and lead technical studies to identify field-development opportunities, performance improvements and optimisation areas.
• Review major technical and commercial issues, coordinate data gathering and multidisciplinary assessments, and prepare technical proposals for management.
• Lead and support field-development planning, reservoir management and implementation of development strategies.
• Conduct and supervise integrated reservoir studies, including rate transient analysis, well modelling, reservoir simulation, forecasting and performance management.
• Evaluate field-development and appraisal strategies through technical and economic analysis.
• Recommend improvements to complex technical and business processes and support the adoption of emerging technologies.
• Review development plans, business plans, policies and procedures, and give technical input to strategic initiatives.
• Coach and mentor reservoir engineers and apply risk management principles and HSE compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Reservoir Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or a related Oil & Gas discipline.
• Minimum 20 years of professional upstream Oil & Gas experience, preferably with major E&P organisations.
• Master's degree or PhD preferred.
• Proven experience developing, scoping and managing complex technical studies, projects and programmes.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, leadership, communication, coaching and mentoring skills.
