E-commerce Officer – Food & Frozen Goods

About the role

The E‑commerce Officer (Food & Frozen Food) will manage our digital storefront, ensuring product listings are accurate, compliant, and reflect real‑time stock. You will act as the bridge between online orders and temperature‑controlled warehouse fulfillment to guarantee fresh, safe delivery of perishable goods.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and audit online product catalogs, ensuring regulatory compliance for ingredients, allergens, nutrition facts, and storage instructions.
• Oversee the automated flow of orders to cold‑storage facilities, coordinating with 3PL refrigerated couriers to meet strict delivery windows.
• Monitor real‑time inventory, implement FIFO logic online, and trigger alerts for low stock on high‑demand items.
• Deploy promotions, flash sales, and seasonal campaigns while providing demand forecasts to production teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Food Science or a related field.
• 2–4 years of e‑commerce operations experience, with at least 1 year in the food, FMCG or perishable‑goods sector.
• Basic understanding of cold‑chain logistics and food‑safety principles (HACCP awareness is a plus).

Required skills

• Proficiency with e‑commerce platforms such as Shopify or Magento.
• Experience with ERP inventory modules (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Knowledge of cold‑chain logistics and inventory control.
