ES&H Specialist

About the role

The ES&H Specialist will be based in Kuwait and will support V2X’s global operations by ensuring compliance with environmental, safety and health regulations. The role involves technical monitoring, risk analysis, training delivery and reporting to maintain a robust ESH management system.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain a standardized ESH management system across assigned sites.
• Conduct risk analyses, develop compliance programs, and identify required resources such as PPE.
• Perform ESH inspections, root‑cause analyses, and corrective‑action support for supervisors.
• Operate monitoring equipment and conduct specialized testing of physical, chemical and environmental stressors.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to middle management.
• Develop, deliver and document training packages for employees.
• Track and submit monthly performance metrics and manage employee reward programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Biology or a related technical certification.
• Minimum three years of experience in environmental compliance, OSHA/ISO standards, hazardous waste management and pollution prevention.
• Knowledge of DoD environmental regulations, OEBGD, Federal OSHA and EPA requirements.
• Ability to obtain a host‑country driver’s license and CAC eligibility.
• Military background or training is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to instruct small and medium groups.
• Competence in operating environmental monitoring equipment and conducting specialized testing.
